Thru the grill foglights for a 9171

I did a search but I can not find the actual size dimensions of the round foglight for the thru the grill application for a 1971. I am looking at some older Hellas and have found sizes around 5" and 6" for the lights and am trying to get as close to oringinal as possible without breaking the bank. Thanks for the help, Mark

General rule of thumb is 13.5 cm.

I'll take a couple of basic measurements tonight from home and post them. 118s and US TN4s. I just happen to have my stash out for refinement.

Believe it or not, your Porsche dealer still sells them, at pretty affordable rates (relative, of course). You may just give them a call and price them first, you may be surprised.

I know the wiring from the front fender to the fusebox are pre installed on all cars even if not fitted with T.T.G.F.L. from factory. I am not very friendly with electrical diagrams etc. I have the original wireloom in a bag, the one that goes from the fogswitch on the dash, with a holder for a rele. Could anyone explain how this wireloom is connected to the switch and also at the other end connected to the "rele holder" and fuse box. Maybe some pictures and explanation by color of the wires?

    5.25" is 13.5 cm

My special friend Tom is right as is the other guy who mentioned 13.5 cm. 1" equals 2.54 cm.

    Cheers,
