Thread: Kremer ST Recreation in progress

Is the color Viper/Conda/signal green? It looks a bit darker than those colors in the last pictures.

    Gib,
Beautiful car, how were front fender flares done.

    John:
The color is Viper Green...pictures look different based on light. It is a striking color when you see it in person. The yellow psychodelic squigglies will be done in paint, once the assembly is done.

    Phil:
The front flares are turbo, butt welded to stock fenders, with the usual extension to tie in the turn signal box area. Rear flares are also slightly modified turbo and butt welded.

While Kremer started out with 8+9x15 Fuchs like the other STs, in a couple of those pics it looks like Kremer was using the 9x15 Fuchs in front and something wider in the rear. I think I have seen a shot with a gold BBS in the rear, but the one pic you posted looks almost like an 11x15 Fuch wheel. Do you (or others) have any better shots of those wider rear wheels?

    Gib,
That looks great. Should be a fun project.

The car should be at RRIII with Moorespeed, if you need more details.

What have you decided to do for drivetrain?

I would like to have that CD of the pics. My email address is: gbmotorsport@gmail.com. Please send me a message and I will forward my mailing address.

For now, I am planning to use a 2.7 MFI RS spec engine built on a 72 case that I have.

    Chuck:
Thanks, I will look forward to seeing some from your archives. Here is a shot of the Kremer car with 9x15 Fuchs in front and the BBS rears, with no bumperettes.
