Thread: McQueens 1970S in Excellence

    McQueens 1970S in Excellence

Have not read the story yet, but I am excited to see it in there. I always wondered what happened to that car.
Also exciting (because I am such a nerd) is that the serial # is 9110301502 and my 70 S is 9110301509. So its kinda a six degrees of seperation thing - my car probably knew McQueens car and so on

Kinda funny, neither of those 70 "S"s had any idea of how cool thier eventual owners would be!

    Lightbulb

This had to be one of the best, then worst, kept local secrets in town….

This car will appear in Excellence about the same time as it will in the new Matt Stone 'McQueen's Michines' book.

I have not seen the '70 yet but hear it's beautiful … and came with ALL the SOLAR documentation...

The car is owned by our friend and Porsche collector Jesse Rodrigues, and will make it's local debut soon...

I finally just got the 'New' McQueen book by Matt Stone and it is a real great book. Excellent stories and never before pics. Worth it.

read the Excellence article last night. can this magazine get any better?!

Matt Stone really did justice to the car and the story behind it.
