    Just guessing...

From these mediocre photos, it looks like we have:
    - early 356 or 912 gauges? (or are those VW gauges?-these pics really do suck)
    - 356 engine lid badges on front fender
    - from what little I could see of it...is that a 356 Convertible D windshield frame on it?

Other than that..appears to be just another one of those VW-panned, fiberglass rebodies. There had to have been hundreds of these little shops all over the country, from the late fifties through to the early seventies, when the post '68 safety laws finally croaked the industry...

Your guess is as good as mine - I've never seen one of these either...

    Good luck

    What the heck is this?
It looks like a piece of junk to me.

    northern canada , Canada
I bet it has more rust than an old British car that has been outside since 1965.

    Run..........FAST!

That car has been sitting outside in Northern Canada for who knows how long and then the ad says, "This car will need a restoration , motor is buried in a shamble".

What the hell is a shamble?

    Yikes!
