1972 911 Project on Wash DC craigslist

Not mine, no affiliation. Just passing it along. Has sport seats and A/C. Ad says it's located in Salisbury, MD.

There's a link on the Washington, DC craigslist ad to see photos:

    That went quickly.

Only saw one sport seat, but the 7200 RPM tach was interesting... what model was it claimed to be?

Do you recall the asking price? I'm trying to price my 72 project.

    Best,

I am in discussions with the owner about buying that car, and 99% sure the deal is done. I will send up date pics once I have it.

Alan, T, E or S? Eminence, I can not see the 7200 tach, just the 6300 one in the pics?

Someone had mentioned the tach or speedo was incorrect (from a mid year or SC maybe?) on a Pelican thread (or was it dorkiphus; can't recall). Ad is still there on DC craigslist, not sure why link doesn't work. Asking price when i saw it was $9500.

I THOUGHT the car was in Cambridge (maybe 1hr past Salisbury from me) but if it is in fact in Salisbury i'll be happy to visit and take pics for anyone that is serious about the car. Salisbury is maybe 20 minutes from me.

Car certainly appears to be a T per the carbs though it is entirely possible that an E or S engine was pulled and replaced with a T engine.

    Hi,

The car is a straight 2.4 T. The speedo is from a later car so I am just checking to see what age the 915 gear box is. More info soon

    Thanks

    Alan,
Hope you got it cheap. That car is a long way from its original splendor.
