exactly HOW much is two bills ??
I don't know how much 2 bills is but Derwhite (handle on eBay) sells detailed pictures of a(n almost) new 1953 356 Coupe. There are something like 70+ pictures on such a disc. To get things straight, those pictures were made in 1953 by Chrysler motor company when the car had only 93 miles on it. It are not pictures that were taken recently. Apparently acquired derwhite the negatives and makes those available for the public.

The disc is available for a little under $20. In other words if good pictures are taken, Randy (or someone else) might be able to recoup some of the costs made to get those details in pictures. If it had been a 65/66 it's worth $20 to me.

What have I got myself into here ??
That's what you get for following me!

To me a "bill" has always meant $100.00

So, I'll kick in $200.00 towards the cost of getting myself a comprehensive quality photo documentation of the car. Whether it's used to cover Randy's expenses to do the shooting or to donate to the Registry for software and a server that can handle/host high res images for our new forum. As long as we are talking a grass roots effort for those that can appreciate the information, I'm in. If the intent of the CD is just to generate funds outside the Registry like any other marketable product then I'll wait till a per CD price comes out. No need for me to pay for the cost of doing business.

What Satman says makes sense when you look at the detail to do a worthwhile cd excercise on this one of a kind 911.
Yes,I have no problem seeing the expenses involved in creating a technically high quality cd with perhaps a small surplus going to the Registry's coffers.
Yes,I am in but it may take a couple of Jim Beams to reconcile with the 'two bills'...

    Cheers,
    Dennis.

I would certainly be interested in detailed pictures as are many others.
