    67 911 finish

    Hi,
I recently had my 67S repainted and the rockers and fender lips were smooth. No textured finish.
    Best of luck,
    John

Smooth. This is based on my ex-67-S original paint car.

The photo below is a 1965 rear fender detail. This is a 100% original car.

    Good luck!

while you are on the subject...sort of

I have a SWB car on a rotisserie (having just replaced the floors and inner and outer rockers) and am ready to apply undercoating. I am wondering where the undercoating stops. I have looked at three original unrestored cars, and each is different. One car has the undercoating only on the floor pan. The next has the undercoating extend up over the seam with the inner rocker and up to the edge of the outer rocker. The last has the under coating extend an additional inch (upwards)onto the outer rocker.

    Anybody care to weigh in?
Sorry for the hi-jack...but if we have some gravel guard wizards...maybe we have undercoating wizards too
