    '73S Restoration Continues...

Well, work has finally started again on our '73 S. My buddy Pete and I took a bit of a break during the holidays and also thought about where the project was going. It has been decided to go a bit deeper and restore the bottom of the car to make it as nice as the top. SInce this a pretty clean and straight numbers matching car, it is worth it. Besides, after Pete painted all the suspension pieces, there was no way they could be mounted on the "grubby" chassis. Here are a couple of shots of the suspension. We finished stripping and prepping the rest of the engine compartment, trunk, and underside yesterday. The car is mounted on a dolly and leaves tomorrowfor the underside to be painted.

Thanks, Frank. Can't wait to drive it. By the way, saw your car at Klub Sport last week.

It's in for routine maintenance, along with some "freshening" of the front suspension, and a new clutch.
    Cheers!
