I have no problem with the theory that all men are created equal.
But after that moment you are on your own and nobody owes you a damn thing.
on my 72 with leather option;
seats, door panels, rear panels, rear seats, package shelf, dash trim.
not door pockets, dash top, kneepads.

On a 1967 911S the dash, package tray and the door panels were all leather, I would think that if leather was an option on a 67 normal these would also be covered the same way as the "S".Originally Posted by MarkS
Thank you, that rules out leather on my now vinyl interior seat's reupolster project.

How dos the dash top look if it was covered in leather from the factory? Any stitches and if so where?

There is no stiching showing. I belive you might be able to find some nice pictures of these early leather SWB dashes by doing a search. Tony from 'AutoBahn Interiors' has done some very nice recovering work that looks just like the factory ones and has displayed pictures on here.
Leather dashes, unique looking gauges that have knurrled nuts to remove them, real chrome door frames, bolt togeather engine grills, are just some of the subtle difference of these early SWB cars from their later brothers.
Thanks Fritz, where there no leather dash as an option for the LWB?

"unique looking gauges"
- you mean the green gauges? or is there something else special within the realm of the green gauges?
Has anyone had to replace or re surface the dash and seats with the old vinyl? The dash cracking seems to be a common issue on the old cars after looking at You tube videos. The speaker cover that seems to float at speeds over 65MPH is all cracked as well. Hope it's a relatively easy fix.
