    Color Code 4610 on a 1971 911T/ Tan interior??

Anone know what the color code for this is? I think 4646 is light ivory and this one looks more like a butter cream color. Also, this one has tan interior. Was there ever tan interior in the early Porsches because I have had about 20 of them and have seen only black interior....

    Hi Tommy

I can't help with the code but I'm pretty sure my '71 T had the tan interior you are talking about. Tan seats and panels and a tobacco coloured carpet.

    Cheers, Cam

    Tommy,

From my limited range of colour / interior brochures -

'71 MY US Special colours dd 8/70 - 4646 is a 911 coupe in Ivory
    and
'70 MY ROW Colour Chart / interior trim dd 8/69 - both beige and brown leatherette were available for the interior material as was brown leather !

    A brown / beige (?) interior pic is below from a '72 / '73 US 911.

I typed the number 4610 into the Glasurit on line guide http://www.glasurit.com/COLOR/new-co...php?language=1 and it comes up as ELFENBEIN available from 1966 to 1973.

on my translation that is IVORY, although www.elferhelfer.com shows that as code 131 in 1970 and shows 4646 against it in 1971 in the special colors range

In '71 a four digit paint code was used instead of the 3 digit color code. The paint code for Ivory on a Coupe is 4646 and Targa is 4610. The Targa colors all ended in 10 and Coupes were the same 2 #s repeated twice.

Picture of a Beige/Tan interieur from my car, but the carpet is not correct. The original carpet schould be much darker.

I found a picture on the Autobahn Interiors website, but I think that is a Brown interior, the carpet might e a better match to the original though.
