Thread: How to disassemble glove box lock/tumbler?

    Thanks Bob. Unfortunately I have 5 glove box locks and no keys.

    Chris, not the proper way, but I removed the barrel and the pins from mine, which means that any key that can slide in the barrel can operate it. Given the limited use of my glove box only locked when I am at a get together/concours, i can use my ignition key for this purpose. Assuming nobody would try to use a random key to open the glove box while the car is itself wide open.. does the trick for me, but again, not a locksmith or a proper way to do it. Maybe try Tony Euganeo?
