    Show us your luggage compartments-trunks

A strange request but my current project. I want to see overall compartment pics for general appearance and detailed shots.

I am interested in solutions/choices in batteries, spares, fuel tanks (larger tanks or stock), tank finishes, tool kit mountings (special fabrications), hardware finishes, stripped to metal appearances (SWB), hood props, smuggler's box, leather strap downs for spares and anything I forgot to mention.

I am sure you guys worked hard on this project but rarely get the chance to show off your back breaking work!

Due to overspray, liberally applied 42 year old glue, and misc holes drilled for who knows what purpose - the trunk is the worst part of my car.

    Looking forward to this one.

John - can you tell us more about your smuggler's box lid?

    Did you make it yourself?

How much weight did you save from the stock steel one?

Where did the perforated aluminum come from?

Good stuff gentlemen! Lots of details to absorb - just what I requested.

Here are some compartments that I have been studying and the goal is either one of the former Ahearn SWB cars minus the $$$ 100 litre tank (note the lack of blower and windshield washer reservoir:
