Are these aluminum threshold covers factory or aftermarket?

For a '66, they should be black.

your thresholds look like a factory part, but may not be correct for your year.

Actually, the car in the picture isn't mine and my '66 does have black rubber covers. I have a set of aluminum threshold plates that came off a '68 912 I used to own and was just curious as to whether they were factory or aftermarket pieces.

Sounds like they were factory. Thanks...to tell you the truth, I'd forgotten all about this thread.
