Can I have an "Amen" for brother Rob!

I am interested to read your thoughts about the # of the original homologated Carreras you think may be still around. I would have guessed the # was closer to 2/3 instead of 1/3. Certainly a significant # have already and are being 'brought back to life' during this latest run up in price.

Brian, check THIS site out. Very interesting....Don't know how accurate it is, but it seems like a very thorough count.

Thank you all for your stories. Keep them coming!

Someday I hope to be as lucky as some of you and uncover a dream. Good to know those dreams are still realistic.

That is a good site, Stacy. Someone has really spent some time getting all the cars listed there. Of course a large number are directly from Don's RS Registry page but there are still many cars I have not seen before. I need to send the webmaster a new photo of my car though. The one on this registry is from the first day I saw the car in Ann Arbor, MI when we did the PPI.

I know. Makes me a tad suspicious as to where the photos came from, how long ago (or recently) they were taken, and how current the info is. It seems to me that there could not POSSIBLY be this many around that we don't/didn't know about. You know???

I know of a few cars not listed, and I'm sure there are many more in the hands of collectors that don't cruise the internet.

Ditto for mine #496 - she's sat in the garage. I can't decide whether these kind of sites (I'm sure I've seen another one) are really where I want to post details - although anyone with a Konradsheim or a John Starkey book will have the details.... any stories good or bad about these sites?
