I suspect it might be from the HandballVerband Württemberg, the Handball Association of Württemberg . Founded in Stuttgart on March 15, 1948, is the second largest state association in the German Handball Federation. More at https://www.hvw-online.org/ueber-uns/der-verband

Found the same info but questioned why this organization would have a Porsche pin. Amazing!

I found that organisation and kind of thought the same - why would they be associated with Porsche. Unless I suppose Porsche had a team? I also thought of Hoffman and V W because the small round symbol could be an M and an H? Love to know as I just bought it and love it.

It isn't a Porsche badge, it's the coat of arms for Württemberg-Hohenzollern.

Put the stud farm (Stuttgart) coat of arms in the middle and voilà! Porsche crest.
