I like those. Do I talk to You or Clint. Will you do them in black so the match like the ones in my picture.

Either of us - that's a pre-production unit; I just road tested a pair to Rennsport and back, in fact (and a European fellow working at a truck stop in TX actually stopped me to inquire about them - good eye!)
I'm making them in natural aluminum, but having a set done in black for you shouldn't be out of the question.

10 sets of SWB plates were reserved today and it appears 1 or 2 sets of bushings will be ordered from Clint. I think it's very cool that folks on this site work hard to make their cars the best they can be. I love this thread. You guys come up with some really creative stuff.

So I have been following this thread for years and I think I "get" the idea behind it. Even though this fellow, Dirk Patschkowski, is not actually working on full-size cars, he certainly has an eye for satanic details! And then some. He is a true artist, as a visit to his facebook page and a run through his photos will attest. Dirk is a wonder and he creates satanic details in everything he does:

I think I posted in this thread some time back about the build up of the door panels and particularly the fabricated armrest structure. Laser cut, folded, welded and scotch brite finish. Here it is sneaking into the background of the just finished interior.

These started out as fibreglass generic race seats. I choped them and re formed the tops and added post guides for some Honda head rests. Turned out great.
