I filled up two 2GB cards and completely killed my camera battery taking pictures of the small stuff. Looking back on my photos I see that I actually missed some opportunities to take pictures of whole cars because I was so focused on the detail work.
PS: The camera I used to take these pictures was brand new to me as I had broken my trusty Canon Elph (RIP) in England a few days prior. I was still learning how to use the new camera when I went to The Museum and the macro setting was giving me fits.
Here are a few more of the Bergspyder:

So it's Tuesday morning, I 'm leaving for Parade Wednesday afternoon, have to finish putting this car together so I can drive it half way across the country, this car hasn't been on the road for 30 some years, and I still have to do the engine lid grill. It's been low on the priority list, but now it's moved to the top. The original grill had broken studs so there was no way to mount it securely now. Plus the whole theme of the car is late sixties "sports purpose", and what is more "sports purpose" than a minimalist grill. I need some mesh, what's that in the corner, an old aluminum door with a mesh section,,,,,hmmmnnnn, sure looks close to the Porsche grill mesh. A few hours later, some button head bolts, and some door edge guard from Pep Boys, and we got us a grill!!!
