Ah thanks Cliff. I see the problem now. My iPad does not show the whole picture, just the lhs so the pedal is not there unless I look on my computer. I've got it now.

For my periodic visit to this wonderful thread, I would like my post to serve two purposes:
A. to show a couple of shots of the GEZE clamps used on most of the 906 through 917 Series Race cars. They were originally made as cross-country ski bindings for inexpensive wooden skis in the '30s. They were available through the '60s & '70s, but recently I haven't been able to find them. They're rugged, sturdy, adjustable, feather-light and ideally suited for automotive applications as shown.
B. if some one would take it upon themselves ( I can hear it now.."why don't you do it yourself " - I don't have the time or the talent ) to research this, hopefully find them and then import a few dozen pairs, in large and small sizes to make them more suitable for varied applications, I submit that they would look infinitely better than the ungainly, clunky GHE rubber hold-downs. If anyone feels that they might actually follow up on this request, I'll publicly commit here & now to buy a set of four, or a pair each of large and small ones ( if they're available in sizes ) , for installation on Ruprecht, where I intend to mount them in the exact same location as the Monza record-breaking R has the leather straps. The small ones will be used in the rear.
Before it became Ruprecht, my Porsche was a '70 911 T

Rob Dickinson's response when asked what motivated him to build Singers
A possibility might be Pegasus Racing part #'s 3045 & 3046. The brand name isn't mentioned.

With those, one can definitely see that Geze started in ski bindings!
