Thread: Show me satanic details...please.

  1. #551
Haasad, I have a feeling that your car is one that we're all going to enjoy seeing the details revealed. That is so much cleaner than the cross drilled door handles I've seen before.

Here's one that should have been Harry's but he was gracious enough to give it up to me once I got hooked on the idea. Vintage leather Bell Racing Helmet bag. Right now it has my helmet inside, but it will also make a great overnight bag for those trips when I can pack lightly.

    Cheers!
    Mike

    Raj,

I just had to clean my monitor off. I laughed so unexpectedly that there is coffee everywhere. Bring your Sporto 911R to the next event and we'll see....

    -M

I had saved this on my computer for just such an occasion.

    911S: Rich Man's Porsche
    911E: Thinking Man's Porsche
    911T: Working Man's Porsche
    Sporto: Ladies Porsche
    912: Entry Level Porsche

*Naturally this is meant in good fun, please no one take any offense. (except for Raj)*

I am a bad influence on Mike... i keep talking him into the wonderful ideas. I am still working on talking him into pulling the trigger on a set of vintage nomex. LOL,

912 -an entry level porsche? come on.. a coxster is an entry level porsche. a 944 is an entry level porsche.

a 912 is way beyond entry level. It's like spinal tap. when you need that extra push over the cliff, why settle for 911.. when you need that extra push go one more. go to 912 -one louder (er.. one better).

Nice bag Mike! Plus the rally bin - that's only the third one I've seen in a car.

Thanks Bob. If you've got any good pictures of the straps and mounting screws I would appreciate seeing them. I need to get it installed properly.

Goriup did an excellent write up with detailed pics and rendering for ESSES. Forget the issue but it was back when I was the designer for a few issues. Otherwise I can shoot you a pic of mine but I deviated from the original.

    Sorry, I am a sucker for A356`s :-)

Note the small chrome bracket under the leather window pull ,

The small lip in the rear bumper

and for my outlaw 356 project, I just had a heating stamp made ,for the plexie window marking
