    Wanted: 2 Quail Tickets

I am looking to purchase 2 tickets to The Quail on August 15.

I sold my 2 to a good friend to make sure he and his dad can go. Dad is in his late 80's, declining health, been going to Monterey Historics FOREVER.

They have never been able to "get in" to the event for the past 3 years. This year, I am selling him my tickets to make sure they get in. Probably the last hurrah for the father and son. (Can't make this stuff up) I would like to go, but for me, there is always next year.

Soooo, if anyone knows of 2 for sale for me, please PM me.

    Ray should be considered for...

    Sainthood.

That was a very unselfish move - to enable the father & son to "do it one more time together"... you're absolutely right - you can't make stuff like this up.

As you said, whether or not you get to go this year is totally irrelevant...

    Good on ya, Ray!

    cheers

This may or may not be the way you want to buy them, but I just typed "The Quail a Motorsports Gathering" at eBay and found two pair and three individual tickets for sale. They all seem to expect well over list price although a couple have starting bids like $ 100/ticket (reserve not met). All have no bids to date.

    The item numbers are:

    Pairs:
    130242519620
    320279840177

    Singles:
    270260409216
    150276682212
    150276683076

    Good luck.
