3 = year (1973)
1 = model (T)
0 = Coupe (if it was targa it would be 1)
0921 = production run.
So it would seem to be a 1973T, a coupe.
Looking at 911.org (registry of "E" models) I see that there is an ivory coupe form 73 owned by a David Teichner, located in the South of France and his VIN was production run #0926 ... close ... who knows if it was circa same time. That had a build date of 5/73. Which was reason why i looked it up. To see if you could have an idea of time of year it was built.

Thanks for the feedback - I couldn't remember if the 1 meant S or T - I guess I could have checked my 73T
Any way here's the car - there's no accounting for taste - my 4 year old daughter loves it

Hi, Just screwing around on a hot Fl day and ran across your post and noticed your serial number is close to mine 341. I'm trying to estimate the build date as the jam tag is long gone. Do you know the build date of 622?
Thanks,Fred
I use this of late...

Anyone know if there is there a similar way of being able to check the build number stamped on the chassis under the knee pad?
