Unique small rear calipers for ST?

I’ve recently been advised by a reliable source that the ‘70-‘71 2.3 ST and the 21 ‘72 2.5 STs may have been fitted with a unique and extremely rare small S alu caliper on the rear axle but I have no photos of this to confirm.

Is anyone else aware of this part at all and if so, can you share any info please, especially some photos?

    Thanks!

I can't pull the CarPoint #. Are those repro? Just curious as I went a different route for brakes.

The original rear ST ones are aluminium, identical to the 914/6 GT Caliper. Front Calipers are sometimes 908 Magnesium. My car came with two Magnesium in the front and unfortunately only one aluminum for the back. The CarPoint ones are nice repros.

It would be interesting to know the distance between the fixings of this rear calipers.
I think the distance is not the same on 911 SWB rear trailing arms and ST (LWB)

Please explain further. The 914/6 GT Calipers are cast iron and spaced for vented rotors: example
