    Interesting tread. It could be that I have car number 72 in my garage! I have a Renault R8 Gordini with the 1255 engine, R1135, that Gunnar Juvberget owned from new, September 16th 1969 to August 1st 1970. Needs investigating!

    Interesting!. Note the rear view mirror is mounted on the fender, not the door as is customary. Has anyone seen a Talbot (or any type of driver's side mirrior) ever mounted on the "wings".

    Talbot Mirror

    It could be that the mirror was mounted in locally. I'm fairly certain ouside mirrors were not mandated before 71 in Norway.
