So it is always good to have a car dealer (or manufacturer) as a friend here when you need to drive your car without registering it.
I guess the factory hadn't enough of their own '06' plates at this time, so they get additional '04' ones. They are not specific for an area like the white ones.

and the last one of the Gulf 917K (I know you started the thread about 911's but there are probably as many sports racers (906 907 908 etc) with factory registration plates - some of which are later raced by non factory teams - as there are 911's

and while I am posting S-U series plates here is S-U 9370; 911 030 1127 the 1970 Tour de France Larousse / Gelin Special 911ST lightweight

    LEO plates

    Here are some LEO plates

    LEO ZA 29 S. Zasada/R. Zyskowki 6th TAP Rallye Portugal October 1972
LEO ZA 44 Ordinary production car in 1972 E series “S” used in photo shoots
    LEO ZA 60 Car 107 Targa 1973 RS 0002
LEO ZA 63 Homologation car RS #0015; and a press car for photo shoots
    LEO ZA 64 1972 Paris show car RS# 0016
LEO ZA 68 Waldegard’s 1972 Tour De Course car
    LEO ZA 69 R2 911 360 0020 Larousse Tour De Course Nov 1972

Most of these have been posted here before. I wonder what the chances of LEO ZA 61, 62, 65, 66, and 67 being factory cars as well?

    Thomas

that is a great photo of Vic at the Tulip. I have photos of SYS 847 at a number of events that I should post on this thread.

the other one, SYS 848 as car 46, is the 1967 Targa Florio.
It is 306 655S with Bernard Cahier / Jean-Claude Killy.
They came first in GT2.0 and seventh overall.

Here it is with Gunther Klass/Robert Buchet at the 1967 Monte and, as you will know, it was Vic Elford's car with Terry Harryman at the Gulf London Rally in 1967 (car #3)
