Question Strange stars stamped beside the engine number

    Dear all,
As you can see on the picture, the stars don't have the regular shape.
    Any idea? re-stamped numbers?
    Thanks.

Neither the numbers or 'stars' are correct...what year and engine type is it being represented as?

    Thank you all,
I will disassemble the engine and look for dates and other special features of the crankcase.

Does it run well? If so, why disassemble - you're not going to find any numbers inside that will overcome those that are visible.

I have this engine for 25 years.
I did not start it for 12 years...
That's why I have to check it completely.
