Just an update on my garage progress. I have cars ready to go to sleep for the winter. Two more P-cars will be moved in shortly. Fans installed for next summer. Porsche art is being framed and will be installed this Winter.

I love the damascening/engine turning on the firewall.

FWIW; here is a link to a gentleman I had the pleasure of chatting with years ago regarding an aluminum tank for a motorcycle. It never went anywhere because somebody needed the tank "as is" and I sold it. Talent? Are you kidding??? I'd still like to do one.

This is nearby. Beautiful car sold this past summer at Hershey.

I thought I 'd post some photos of my recently (almost) completed man-cave space.....even though it's not up to the same standard as some of the other amazing garages that have been posted here. The space was originally used as three barn stalls that are part of a larger 5-car detached garage structure. I've finally gotten around to finishing the space off and will use it as a part-shop and hang-out area. I just moved the 914 into space for winter.....it will give me a nice warm place to work on the car the next couple of months.

Looks very nice. I was thinking about using pavers as my floor but was wondering if it would be too rough. Post up your thoughts after you have had time to use the space. Nice work.

My prior house built in 1923 had two of them in the 6 car garage!

Ahhhh the sixties... I envision myself one early Saturday morning wearing plaid shorts, black shoes with white socks smoking a cigarette heading to the hardware store to buy a bag of nails.
SWB cars are an acquired taste however once acquired theirs no turning back.

Bump for an old thread, 'cause I lost my lease and moved into this one year ago last month. It's perfect. Use to be a machine shop, plugged a big compressor and bead cabinet into the existing plumbing, and three electric panels 600 amps each! 1000 sq/ft larger than the last space, for the first time I have a dedicated service area instead of having to move stuff around to get to the lift. Three heavy steel roll bay doors and no windows, a tilt-wall concrete box, gated lot with 8 parking spaces out front.

With AC (fabric ducts since added) and good floor paint it feels luxurious.
