What do you guys think? USD 178.000.

It's the car CMC used as the reference car for their model.

Arthur, the owner of the car, is beyond fanatical when it comes to this car and it's now completed restoration. He has done an unreal job at documenting these rare early 911's on his website. I sold him the very early (#100705) 901/0 transmission that was unexpectedly found installed in my '68 hot rod to replace the missing trani that was stolen form his car.

Whomever ends up with this car will cherish it. I can't believe Arthur is selling.

Lovely car. Isn't this the guy who had the "first 911 (901) conspiracy theory" on his website?

The 1:18 scale model is pretty cool as well.

Incidentally he says he bought the car for $9500, talk about an investment.

Is this some kind of cruel trick being played on Arthur?

Reminding him of a major motoring regret?
