    66mm 9-Bolt Crankshaft

As you may know this is Supertec's 'SuperCrank' . I told Henry I wanted one, got one, now I am not sure it will get used for a while.

    It's beautiful...BRAND SPANKIN' NEW

It is a direct replica, a modern derivation of the 2.8L 956 and 961 Crankshafts.

    Short story:
-Design based on 935 fully-counterweighted crankshaft.
    -Fully-grooved main bearing journals.
-Will run in a 911SC, 3.2 Carrera, or 3.6 engine case!!! 1978-98 and even newer GT2/GT3/Turbo!
-Uses the 53mm rod journal, ie., 3.0SC size standard bearings...incidentally, same as the GT3 Titanium rods which CAN be used. DOES NOT REQUIRE SPECIAL BEARINGS.
-Hollow rod journals, Ion plasma hardening, state-of-the-art crankshaft design, special counterweights, etc., etc. 4340 Chromoly alloy. The list goes on ...this thing is aerospace quality if there is such a thing for car parts.

See the light shining through the rod journal? It's hollow. This thing is 2 Lbs. lighter than a stock 2.0 S crank.

    Amazing Recipe:
    1) Mix in with big oil pump (930 or GT3 pump, I have both available) and a nice 3.0/3.2/3.6 case
    2) Choose your cylinders: 95mm, 98mm, 100mm* and 102mm* are most common (*3.6 Case only) .. Charles Navarro will make a 100-102mm that fits in a 3.0/3.2 case. Other possibility is 104mm

    3) Obtain desired displacement: 2807cc "Short Stroke" (95x66), 2987cc "Short Stroke"(98x66), 3110cc "Short Stroke"(100x66), 3236cc "Short Stroke" (102x66), or even 3364cc "Short Stroke" (104x66)

In other words you can build a 2.8-3.4L engine using the original 2.0L stroke for superior durability and extreme revability. How about 9000rpm??? Less piston side-loading, more power at high rpm, and a higher redline than any engine of the same displacement built in a different configuration.

    4) Make sure you have big ports and cams!
    5) Add compression and/or twin plugs to taste (**highly recommend twin plugs on 98mm+ bore )

Price is $3,500 for Crankshaft alone . $7,000 including a set of NEW GT3 Pankl Titanium connecting rods and Porsche Motorsports Bearings . Shipping included within the USA.
