Sad news. I bought a Deep 6 wheel from Tom Dance a few years back. Really nice guy & a pleasure to deal with. I'll take the 911 out today in his honor.

Number of years in dealings with him, ditto on the square shooter. Nice guy. Sad to see him go and all my sympathy to his family and friends.

His repro "attach to the grill" lights, which I believe he designed and manufactured in some capacity, were of high quality and value. I bought two sets and painted one set stain glass yellow ..

    God speed..

    Very sad news.

Tom was always cheerful, and with a big smile. A true enthusiast. He had wonderful cars. Heidi and I will miss him.

Just found out about Tom. I met Tom many years ago when he purchased my 70S. He repainted it yellow and I believe the yellow car in a previous post is my old car. He was just getting started in the early 911 hobby and he jumped in head first. I still laugh about when he came to VA Beach to pick up my S. He pulled into the driveway with his wife in an older BMW. I thought to myself, where is the trailer. He bought the car and even though I knew it was road worthy, he said that he was driving it back to CT. There was one little problem. The East Coast was experiencing an ice storm and the car was on worn out Yokohama A-008R auto-x tires. I tried to talk him out of it, but he jumped in and roared off down the road. I later heard that he made the trip OK but looped it on an icy bridge. Tom was certainly an interesting guy and he was totally into our early 911 hobby. He will be missed. I'd sure love to have my old 70S back.
Rest in peace Tom and condolences to his family.
