2007 Lime Rock Vintage races video

I finally got around to uploading a small video from the Lime Rock vintage races in 2007. It's just so darn hard to try and focus on one marque when you're there, but I think that I might have done it. Anyway, I stopped by and chatted up with Joel and had a good time.

    Happy New Year all!

That was refreshing as I look out my windows at a foot of snow. Caused me to get off my butt go to garage for a peek at the wench and think of warmer times.
Great video - thanks for sharing

I certainly had fun making the video, although breathing in too many fumes... was a little harsh. For your New Year's viewing enjoyment...

What else do yaa do on a picture perfect New England Day last summer? We roamed around and did a walk-about snapping off photos in the corrals. Last but not least, I sneaked in a photo of my Chili Red R53. I'm wearing the pumpkin colored golf shirt.

Simply LOVED Joel's Carrera RS and his 914/6 race car was kewl. Prescott Kelly's 911 had a little shock valving issue going down the straights, was bouncing like a pogo in the rear. I think they eventually got it tightened up. Other notable Porsche was the 935, bloody quick it was.

[ok I have to admit...] The ex-Dieter Quester BMW 3.0 CSL just sounded so trick. Rare that you see and hear that car race on the track. Even though it was only a few demonstration laps, they opened it up pretty good. Same goes for the ex-DTM E30 M3 after it warmed up.

I'm glad I could put a little warmth in your soul for a winters day!

Great job. Thanks for including us all with the video.

I was at that event Sat/Sun and remember it well. It was a fun event and I think Porsche may have been the featured manufacturer that year.

    Cheers!
