Thread: Type 901/xx Engine Build #'s

    961798 8478
That would seem to leave not room for a duplicate engine number UNLESS it had the same build number well. Further the 961782 you have does sequence match its 8462 build number. Perhaps the Kardex engine number, posted again here, is a just plain wrong! If I ever see the car again (it was a car I judged once) I'll check it out! Thanks.

    I agree, I have 302124 paired with 902289 in a 1977 Panorama ad.

Engine 3080351 is stamped 901/06 and 11794. It is aluminum.

6520038 appears to be a 1972 type 911/57, a 911T Euro with Zeniths, and an early one.
