I have engine number 903850, type 901/ build 3766, This motor was converted to Webers and I wonder should it have had center lube cams?

My car is chassis number 303165, it should have engine number 903272

I would say between 903200 and 903400 since the serials jump around a lot. The only way to get the original engine # now is to obtain the Kardex, and that I can help you get. That build # splits up a group of six 906 engines. Please tell us more about 303165 in it's own thread.

901/06 911607 8227 dated 66/12 , yeah, only 11 large dots, but no room for the twelfth which appears to be smaller and inside

Many thanks for these three engines. I could do with date marks on both case halves on any cases +/- six months of this one since I have little data. Also look for the mating #'s stamped on the top of the case, and the casting part #'s on the lower sides of each half please.
