    Thumbs up More Congrats....

While reading my new PANO this morning I noticed a couple of familiar names that have just been added to the PCA's National appointments ...

Ed Mayo's (edmayo) lovely wife Jan Mayo (who I met at Rennsport) is now the National Awards Chairman

    And...

John Straub (John Straub) appointed as PCA's National Register Coordinator

BIG CONGRATS and cheers form the Early 911 community guys....

    More Congrats....

Chuck, as always you are being the consummate gentleman, however there are a couple points we need to straighten out. If you have met my lovely wife it wasn't at RRIII....she wasn't there! And this was a continuing appointment as she has had this job for two years now. I did show her your congratulatory post however, and she was most surprised and appreciative..... now if you could just straighten out that little RRIII thing that would be great!

In the early days of frequent flyer memberships for businessmen, one of the airlines sent their best customers a free companion ticket, and suggested that they take the wife along on one of their trips. A while later they wrote the wives to ask them how they liked the trip. A lot of wives wrote back and asked WHAT trip?

And don't forget Rob Abbott and his son Alex who got a big mention for driving their outlaw '56 to the Chesapeake Challenge in the pouring rain with no top.

I'm not sayin' anything about who Ed was or wasn't "with" at RRIII.

Ed may never get out of the house again.
