    Showtime at Monterey '09

    I have just made my hotel bookings(thx real RS 406) this week for Monterey in August and will be there from the Friday before the pre historics to the Sunday of race weekend.
    Can someone pls let us(the down under contingent) know what events are planned for this week or so that I will be loitering in the Monterey vicinity.
    I was thinking of concours,lit meets etc.
    I would be interested also in 356 or 914 events as well.
    I have been to Monterey in '94 and '98.

    There is the Porsche Concours on Monday on the streets of Carmel. It was great last year!
