    Hand Throttle Decal?

    Guys,

Has anyone ever seen this type of decal on an MFI car? If so do you know which year(s) and where it was placed on the car? Thanks.

    Hand Throttle Decal?

Brian, I don't ever recall seeing one of those. My guess is that it might have been mounted to the inside of the windshield?

I know this is probably a dumb question, but how do you know it's for an MFI car?

The hand throttle starting procedure is for the MFI system. I would guess '72/'73 as the photo depicts that style of hand levers.

    decal

I thought that the sticker was for the early CIS (73 1/2 and 74)cars to prevent exploding air boxes.

    Andrew,

Good point about the style of the knob being from a 2.4L car. Maybe from the CIS T model? Interesting.

I bought that decal on eBay but the seller kept the plastic bag with the part # sticker on it. I have contacted the seller about sending that out. Once I get the part # this should help solve this. Stay tuned......
