    R Doors?

Does anyone have pix showing the interior side of an R door? I need to see the window strap and door opening setup.

    Thanks,

Not much to add after JD's excellent photos, just a few different angles.

Any theories why they used a pull on the drivers side door and a rope (similar to a '55 MGA that I used to have) for the passenger?

Raj, you're probably right about weight. The picture that I posted is Miles Collier's R which has a pull on the driver's side and a cord on the passenger's side. It's possible that this car originally had no means of egress for the non existant passenger.

Might be so the driver could open the passenger door from his seat more easily ?
