Looking for Dad's old 1973 Sepia 911T Coupe. Any sleuths out there?

I was referred here by the Pelican board. I'm looking for my Dad's 1973 911T that he bought new in 1973 from Jimmy Payne Porsche Audi while in advanced jet training at NAS Meridian. I can't carfax the vin number obviously, so here I am looking for any expert info on it's location or status. I'd love to be able to locate it for him.... The window sticker fell out of the 1973 sales brochure which sparked this quest. The car was sold by my dad circa 1990 in Barrington, IL.

    Any ideas?

    Info:

    Serial No. 9113103239
    Sepia Brown Coupe

The owner of the 1973 911T four serial numbers before yours is on the Early 911S Registry list. That was the closest one.

It has not sold on eBay (during the time I documented)...

You may also want to contact the 911T Registry...

    Good luck!

Barrington, IL, eh? If you know who he sold it to in Barrington, I can help you with some local sleuthing. Let me know if I can be of assistance in the Chicago area.

Scott comes to mind for my dad. No last name so that won't help much....

    Cooler

Cool that it has a front cooler. Not many of these seen in the T's. Best of luck finding it.

That's quite the Ensign-mobile. What did your dad fly when he was done at Meridian?
