    Pirelli Cinturato Tires

No connection just seems like a fantastic deal (unless I am missing something) especially with Michelin XWX's going for nearly $400 ea these days.

The XWX price certainly has more to do with Coker cornering the market than the quality of the tire.

$219 is a great price. Re-Originals (the folks who sell parts for Italian cars) used to offer the re-issued CN36's for more than $400 a piece.

Talked to Harvey Weidman about this just last night at the EC open house.

The Lucas tire Pirelli is a tube type, and is not quite as smooth a tire casting as the original, nor the XWX.

The Re-originals is the real deal and tubeless, and looks as it would be expected with a smooth sidewall.

Anyway, that's what I gleaned from Harvey.... made me pause....

    Off to the swap meet!
