    911- Earliest Paint Code ?

    The thread on '65/'66 transition and paint code prefix change prompted me to pose the question-

    "what's the EARLIEST paint code registry members cars have?"

    My '65's is a '57 "special" colour- 5710.

    Any other early 356 colour plates out there on 911's?

    5710 = stone grey

    Yes- hi- Gilbert911- not to be confused with the very excellent 6401 Slate Grey (I had a 356 in this colour) 5710 is '57 Stone Grey.

    Thanks Polizei Ed for the pics of my car - recently taken at an Adelaide Hills winery.
