I've been staring at this photograph for 10 minutes and still can't see Nina's watch?

What a wonderful set of 'immortal' images - please can we see some more?

I went to the 1970 USGP at Watkins Glen with my dad. It was a month after Rindt had been killed at Monza, Graham Hill was recovering from a bad crash and was limping heavily. The mood in the pits was subdued, and the weather was cold and rainy, per usual for WG in Oct.

Pedro Rodriguez nearly won in the beautiful Yardley BRM, but ran out of fuel a couple laps from the end and coasted to the pits for a splash of fuel allowing Emerson Fittapaldi to get by and score his first F1 win.

I'll have to see if I can find my pictures of the race.

    Thumbs up

Old Alfa guy that I was...

Besides his formula and sports car drives, Rindt always had a special place with us being the FIRST TransAm OVERALL winner at Sebring in '66 in a GTA ..... with a car he rolled and 'fixed' the day before.......

To hear Bob Tullius defend his orders from MoPar to only win first in class in the factory V8 Dart, and NOT the overall win was painful to listen to... give me a break.......

    Jochen Rindt

I'm pretty sure Coop is spending part of his weekend rummaging through his old files of negatives, slides and photos. I sent him an email saying:
"Hey Coop. We're going to need more Nina photos".

And, I happen to know that he has some AWESOME Jim Clark stuff packed away somewhere. I've been bugging him for several years to find those.

No one will ever know what he would have accomplished had he been around longer. Maybe the best ever?
