    New Esses Magazine

Wow!! great looking issue, "The Esses" has really grown up! As the saying goes "I like what you've done with the place" I know there has been a ton of behind the scenes work to get there, even Tilton shows he has some talent, who would've guessed Now my vol. 9 # 1 will have some company on the shelf!

+1 The magazine looks great! I love the articles and pictures, but the expanded advertising is also a great resource. Many of the vendors I had not heard of before and it is always nice to have more options for parts and accessories.

    New Esses!

+1 to all the comments before me! What a great new look. I received my copy on Saturday and could not put it down. Thanks to all of the staff.

EA911 - thanks for this comment. In determining the overall design of the mag I wanted to utilize the layouts from the old '60s Christophorus magazines and combine it with a little de-constructive typography. It was combining the old with the new in trying to develop something unique and not commonly found in automotive publications.

Ed - I am sure there is a job for you in our marketing dept. Thanks!

Posters - I had this idea for the cover to be a stand alone image. Actually, my idea is to create four covers that are a series based on the seasons and see them all next to each other to represent the entire year. So if a poster(s) gets printed I think it best to run it as a series when all is said and done.

The attached pic represents the last 24 hours - got my copy in the mail Sat, John Gray pays me a visit with special hard to find bottle of wine to celebrate and now I'm having my morning coffee from my favorite mug. Oh yeah, the wine is from a guy who created his own breed of dog based on 3 breeds and named the wine after it. See if you can figure it out.

Thanks to all for the positive feedback. We hope it encourages people to continue their subscriptions or decide to subscribe. We are hard at work on the next issue and we are striving to make it "more better."

    esses

Although I've had my S for 36 years I just joined and can say that the magazine is worth the membership cost by itself. The accumulated knowledge on this website is really amazing.
