Rare find! 175 original leather recaros!! All original and unrestored.

I was on a trip last week to Belize to do a little Scuba diving with my son and I made an unbelievable discovery! I found 175 nearly perfect original Recaros!

The seats were all stored in a large aluminum container and they all had complete mounting brackets. The seats all looked great and were all 100% original leather and unrestored! What a score!

I made a very generous offer to buy them all but was turned down flat.

Unfortunately Taca Airlines refused to remove even one of them from the aircraft (AIRBUS 320) I was being flown on from LA to Belize.

What a pleasant surprise to see the name Recaro on the latch of the tray table in front of me.

I guess Porsche is expanding their Recaro product line to include aircraft seats and maybe they are getting out of the dismal auto business after finally admitting that real Porsches are air cooled!

And especially since the 997, Cayanne, Carrera GT and the GT2 and GT3 are all such failures.
