Car looks great after the clean up. Get the mechanicals up to speed and drive the hell out of it.

Last year when I brought my 68S from this second owner who parked it in 86 a couple of years after he got married and had a family. He brought it in 1970.

Mike, it really was a fun day. The previous owner is a really neat guy and we had a great lunch together and I hope to show him the car when I get it more complete.

Does next to the barn count? Drove from Phoenix to north of Sacramento only to find the car next to the barn! Numbers matching 58 Super in worst shape than it appears. If anyone vsited Steve Hogue's recently, this is the car in the corner getting lots of metal work done.

    Garage Find (my garage)

1969 911S #1070. Bought this car in late 1974 and parked it in the garage in late 1975 after a minor bumper bender. 75K miles. Complete engine, trans, MFI Pump, throttle bodies, alternator rebuild in 1981 with 2.2S pistons and heads.
The singer Johnny Rivers bought this car new from Competition Motors in Hollywood. Original color Kafe Braun (coffee brown) but painted twice before I bought it in '74. Starting to buy the things I need to get it back on the road, and eventually let my kids have it.
