    Barn finds- show your pics

Following an April 1 ruse I posted on the typ901 board for the Aussie guys I scanned a pic of my RHD 901 taken in it's motorhome on the first day I discovered it.

Thought I'd share it here, and ask if anyone has any other early 911 in situ barnfind pics to share here?

We call them shed's down here, so here's a pic of my shed find, circa 1991.

    Cheers

    Stew.

    Barn find images

    Stew,

There was a pretty long thread with these, but it may have been a few years ago. I am pretty sure you can do a search and find it..and it is worth it!
    Good luck

    72 S Barn Find

Here is one kind of barn find (Pic 1)....not the kind most guys are looking for....and not for the faint of heart to move forward on....but it can lead to this (Pic 2). This 72 S now resides in the UK and is undergoing another rebirth as close to an RSR without the VIN as can be done by Mike Moore (Pic 3).

    Hi Stew,

Here is my 1967 911 I pulled from a Junkyard near Long Beach, CA. last year. I plan on a full restoration, but need an engine. Please let me know if you have eng 911266 and would like to part with it.

Brad I have a complete rebuilt 67 motor I bought a couple years ago for a project that never happened.

I may part with it and am in So Cal if interested.

    Thanks Robert

    1967 911

Bought this from the original owner, along with a '58 356A Super Sunroof,
also an original owner. The '67 was purchased directly from PCNA when it
was 6 mos. old, as it was Herbert Dramm's, PCNA Regional Service Director,
company car. He took it off the road in '81, with only 24K original miles, and there it sat until I bought both cars in Sept. '08. Jim Newton of Automobile Associates, did the brakes, fuel system, and disassembled the engine / trans
for inspection. The valve springs were replaced, but everything else went back
together with the original parts. Other than that, the car's never been touched,
and drives like a new car. It originally had chrome wheels, which I have, but
the Fuchs were put on when new. It is one of my favorite cars. Very light,
    and plenty of power.
