Here's my barn find. Parked for 16 years in a shed with a cover on it. PO lost interest when the clutch went out.

If it stays "there" much longer, the rust weevils will destroy it.
I'm sure there is an active effort, if very patient, to rescue it. Sincerely, the best of luck!

    1960 Roadster 1600 Super

Stuck in a barn for 26 years and then pulled out and under a tarp for a week when I found it in '03 or '04; roll bar with SCCA tech inspection stickers from way back, partial log book, red leather, old Nardi wheel, complete car. Paid $10k plus $3.50 for a can of mystery oil to make it run.

Here it is as-found and washed off.

    Aluminium doesn't rust.

    Aluminum oxydizes, especially thin aluminum.

The body is actually in rather good shape, and the engine is there. The floor and steel parts might need some attention.......

The owner think that a bicycle is all you need and has some 30 cats. He has been given MANY offers but just do not care about money. Moving the car to new ownership will take some higher form off diplomacy.
