Need SWB engine harness wire routing help!

I've redone the rear wheelwells and everything behind the rear floorpan seam in my '68, and I am tidying up the 42 year old wiring.....most of it seems straightforward, but I have one question:

For the oil pressure and oil temp green wires, do they branch off at the starter and go up the gap into the engine bay on the right hand side, or do they follow the rest of the main wiring harness into the left hand side of the engine bay and route around that way?

    Thanks for any help!!!

I just looked at my '68, and the oil pressure wire goes towards the left side, as does the oil temp switch. Hope that helps!

Need engine harness wire routing help!

The 66 I'm restoring has the oil pressure wire branching off the harness in the middle of the shock crossmember. The oil temp wire continues on around the left side and across the rear of the engine compartment to oil temp sender.

By the way Fritter, I remember your picture of the rear wiring you're in the middle of, McMaster Carr has the 1" I.D. vinyl sleeving that will replace the original that you are probably missing. I just used some on a 66.

Wow, thanks for the tip Ed! Where does that sleeve end, where the wiring goes past the shock crossmember into the engine bay?

Fritter, here are some pictures of the sheathing and the routing, it comes up by the left shock mounting.

Hi, would you by chance have the part # from McMaster Carr of the 1" I.D. vinyl sleeving?

    Thanks, Henk.
