I´m a softie. I´m selling a car and I´m letting a nice Momo Prototipo go along with the car. So now I need a new one. The old one came from PP, I think, but they only have 35 cm´s now. Any suggestions other than eBay?
Thanks in advance.

Momo no longer makes that diameter prototipo. If you want that size you have to keep your eyes peeled for a vintage one. They are really rare. You can get a repro almost that large at a couple different places. Joel Kaplan had a bunch of 37cm ones made up I believe. Check below:

As Mark knows, I've got a vintage flat Prototipo in silver. It used to be Mark's then mine and now I have two . . . so I could sell one and not feel bad. As all early Momo's go they are spectacular wheels and in my opinion really make driving the car a very special experience. This Prototipo is in excellent condition with a nice patina that just feels right. The stitching is 100% intact with no loose ends or broken threads, the thumb pads are perfect with only a slightly lifting of the leather on the backside of one pad which cannot be seen when installed. And the leather wrapping the wheel is still very soft with no cracks or damage of any kind. Also the "Prototipo" type on the center spoke is black and bold with only a very slight blemish on one of the letters. I paid $450 for the wheel when I bought it and I'll sell it for $450 plus shipping to you. If your interested send me an email and I'll send you some pic's.

Thanks for the input. I have mailed Mr Joel and will se what come out of it. I would prefere a black but if Mr Joel turns out to be a dead I might have to reconsider.
Regards,
I bought my Prototipo a few months ago with Rennsport Classics in the UK(Mark Waring) , he has them produced in 37 or 38 cm, I do not know exactly.
