    Long Beach Sportscar Race photos/videos

    Porsche Sieg!

    Flying Lizard Motorsport 997RSR upholds the Porsche honor! A fast, lively, and competitive drive by Patrick Long and Joerg Bergmeister took the victory in both the (exciting) race and the index of performance efficiency on the twisty turns and long straight of the Long Beach streets.

    A synopsis of the race appears in the description area of the photo set and I will be adding descriptions to some photos later.

    I was only interested in the GT2 class- the only real race. GT1 was a two-car Corvette parade. The prototypes were all Acuras except for the wonderful-looking Lola-Mazda coupe of the Dyson team. No Audis or RS Spyders.
