A core is $400-500, Gus' rebuild is about $1,600 if you include the pulley. That and not having to wait a year for him to do it. . . should bring a solid $1,500, even in this market. However, it's a thin market, the number of guys who need a fresh "hotrod" pump (2,0E has good internals and the 2,2 S space cam is a plus) is a very small number indeed. Also, you will have to show the receipt for the space cam upgrade, it's very hard for a non-expert to verify what space cam is in the pump externally.

I'm with John on the current costs, but the core values on these pumps are up as well. I'd say $16-1800.
I just sold a 0-mile RS-calibrated pump for $2K last week.
