No the dead pedal is a factory race part.

The lines through the rocker are another "tell" that you have something potentially very interesting here!

That is a very interesting catch bottle, the glass pipe is so you can see the level. That's not a factory solution, however.

    Get the COA!

On the photo that Michael has posted above with the arrow you can see one of the factory brackets for an original oil catch tank (plastic screen wash bottle) on the extreme left just behind the hose......with what you have found so far (vented discs all round/Koni's/100 litre tank/dead pedal) I think you are well on the way to a great find.

Its a shame if it is a '71 engine, definitely worth more digging there though.

Have a look if the left hand 'B' post has an indentation for the engine lid pull and is there the metal guide tube for the engine lid cable release running along the inner rear wing and round to the hole in the centre of the rear panel; if 'no' & 'no' its looking good! This could have all changed with the obvious body modifications the car has endured but a good area to investigate anyway. Also have a look at the interior and see if there are the mounting plates for a factory roll bar on the raised area just past the 'B' post area.

Good eye for the catch tank strap bracket.

No reinforced shock mounts though which we
have seen on some early rally cars.

Starting to look like another sport kit car, nice.
